Secret Story 2

Little Bun has made herself look like confectionary. She's half way between a French Fancy and a Bon Bon....

Day 70

The truth about the Vikings part 1
Although they liked to dress up as fearsome warriors, on their days off they liked to skip merrily through fields of flowers in their night shifts.

Day 47

Life was hard for the Early Farmers. Five Cheese and Onion Flavour Flowers would keep a family of ten foxes in crisps for a year but they were somewhat vain and dimwitted plants. If planted at anything other than 13.75cms apart they would screech insults at each other all night. It was quite wearing.

Day 46

It was the Cheese Salad on Seeded Brown Sandwich tree who invented agriculture 10,000 years ago, when he insisted on being moved 1.5 metres to the left because the nutrients were more tasty there.

Day 39

Stone Age Etiquette part 2 :
When bringing flowers to one's prospective betrothed, it is better to resist the eating of the flowers one brings her. Instead, wrap them up in a moist leaf to keep them fresh for her to eat them at her leisure.

Day 29

Alice, a Spotted Proto Squirrel, was busy trying to teach
her tomato plants to sing in two part harmony, but it was terribly hard to get them to concentrate...

A peaceful interlude...

Everyone was nice and clean now, Henry O'Hare had nearly finished hosing down the house and Spotty was talking berets to the field mice.

On being an artist part 5

Meep was putting the final flourish on the mural. It was unfortunate that Spotty chose that exact moment to go outside.

Acorn watch part 4

Squirrel was so excited ! The acorn had grown into a little seedling ! He made sure everyone came to admire it.

Acorn watch part 3

Still nothing happening in the pot, Squirrel took it for an inspiring  walk in the park where everything was flowering in the Spring sunshine.

Acorn watch part 1

Little Bun gave Squirrel a pot to plant his acorn into. He wouldn't be parted from it so they had to take it home. Squirrel watched it all the rest of the day and finally fell asleep still holding it. It was a gorgeous Spotty full moon that night so Little Bun covered him up with a blanket and left him there.

Getting unstuck

Squirrel was keeping a very close eye on his climbing harness. Stripey had borrowed it to pull poor Meep out of the hedge.

Stuck part 2

Spotty was absolutely furious with the field mice after he pulled the smouldering boots off Meep. Meep herself was still dazed. At least her feet were nice and warm, but she did wonder why Stripey was trying to pull her arms out of their sockets.

Hares in March

Meep watched the O'Hares for a while. They were dancing wildly and juggling Easter eggs out in the garden. Little Bun pointed out that they could go out there later and eat the broken bits. Meep was still fed up.

Spotty has had enough !

This is what Spotty came downstairs to the next morning. Little bun was desperately trying to clean up a little 'accident' she'd found behind the sofa. Poor Spotty's house was a mess. There was nothing else for it, Minimeep was going to have to go to kitten school.

A nice roast dinner

Eventually after a lot of persuasion, Little Bun managed to get Squirrel down to Sunday Dinner. Stripey had outdone herself and Squirrel forgot all about his troubles as he scarfed down ten slices of nut roast.

A well deserved rest

Stripey came round that afternoon and was a bit surprised to find the entire household fast asleep in the living room.
