The Spotty Houshold

Day 68

After acquiring as many Jute sacks as they could the Saxons were starting to worry about running out. They heard there was good sacking to be had in Kent across the sea. Good maidens too as it happened and soon Kent was overrun by happy little Kentosaxons. 

Day53

Rumour has it that Helena forgot to leave her husband a note when she went to see the new shopping Mall in Troy. It caused all sorts of problems, and there were no decent handbags there anyway. 

Day 51

There was a definite advantage to walking like an Egyptian when taking one's strange duck for a walk along narrow mountain ledges. Carefully supervised, of course, by the Health and Safety Vultures. 

Day 46

It was the Cheese Salad on Seeded Brown Sandwich tree who invented agriculture 10,000 years ago, when he insisted on being moved 1.5 metres to the left because the nutrients were more tasty there. 

Acorn watch part 3

Still nothing happening in the pot, Squirrel took it for an inspiring  walk in the park where everything was flowering in the Spring sunshine. 

The biggest spotty Easter egg you ever did see !

I suspect the squirrel of engineering this dramatic Easter Egg delivery ! Mrs O'Hare was still feeling a bit queasy from her egg testing yesterday, so was rather looking forward to landing. 

Getting unstuck

Squirrel was keeping a very close eye on his climbing harness. Stripey had borrowed it to pull poor Meep out of the hedge. 

Stuck part 2

Spotty was absolutely furious with the field mice after he pulled the smouldering boots off Meep. Meep herself was still dazed. At least her feet were nice and warm, but she did wonder why Stripey was trying to pull her arms out of their sockets.

And this is what Spotty and Stripey saw when they came home from shopping. 

A bit too quiet

Meep was bored. Spotty was out with Stripey and the house was awfully quiet now that Minimeep was at school all day. 

Mrs Cheep

Mrs Cheep was all dressed up to deliver chocolate eggs she'd just made for  the O'Hares. Although it being March, she wasn't quite sure what kind of mood they might be in. 

Spring cleaning

There's a bit of Spring cleaning going on at the Cheep's today. 

Yummy pancakes !

When they got home Meep had used everything that was left in the house to cook up piles of pancakes. They smelled yummy!

Sledging

The sledge was well loaded up with supplies and off they went. On the way the picked up a family of distressed field mice whose house had disappeared. Spotty would easily find a bit of room for them. 

Snowball

That Squirrel was really pushing his luck. Spotty was just pulling little Bun from the snow when Splaattt! A big sloppy snowball hit him on the nose.

Spotty was loading the supplies on to the sledge but where was little Bun ? (No need to worry, much anyway, as Squirrel made air holes in his snow bunny)
